More About the Mounting & Balancing Process
Professional mounting and balancing of your wheel and tire package is included FREE with your WheelSetGo order. The mounting and balancing services are performed before shipping -- another reason why purchasing federally required Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS) with your order is so important.
If you purchased TPMS, new preprogramed tire monitoring sensors / valve stems will be installed into your wheels. From there, your tires will be mounted on the wheels, creating a wheel / tire assembly. Each wheel / tire assembly will then be balanced using top-of-the-line industry equipment. At WheelSetGo we rely on precision balancing technology that is best achieved from equipment produced by Hunter Engineering Company.
In most scenarios, we will use the standard mount balance method to complete your wheel and tire package. This method is performed using stick-on weights for balancing. For wheel and tire packages for dually applications and all packages featuring tires larger than 35 inches, balance beads will be used in place of machine balancing.
